Nurses need to have finished education in a nursing school as well as training in a hospital, nursing home, or armed forces stations. Nurses also must have passed written and physical exams. Furthermore, nurses must obtain licenses to be qualified to work.
The skills that nurses need in their jobs are excellent communication skills and bed side manners. They must be physically and mentally capable to do their work. Nurses must also be understanding, patient, and encouraging toward patients and know how to administer necessary treatments on them. Furthermore, nurses should be able to work unsupervised or with members of a team.
