              Group account manager jobs are the types of jobs involving the balancing the input of the different departments to ensure that the company meets the client's expectations. As the group account manager, you need to ensure that the account is generating more profit for the company and that the client is receiving good results from the team.

              First of all, you have to research and learn everything about the product or the service that the client wants to promote. Having ideas about the latest market trends and consumer preferences is an advantage. You need to understand the marketing objective of the client so you can help the strategic planning team to come up with great business solutions.

              Being the group account manager also makes you responsible for the preparation and presentation of the creative brief. The creative brief will serve as the basis and foundation of the creative concept and media strategy that will be developed by the advertising team and the media department respectively. Since you need to work with the members of the other departments, you have to be both collaborative and communicative.

              After the creative brief presentation, you have to supervise the different production stages to make sure that everything goes according to plan. You really need to have an eye for details in order to do your job well. Your job as the group account manager also requires you to ensure the client that the promotional project is being done not only on time but also on budget.

              The academic requirement for group account manager jobs is a bachelor's degree in business, commerce, economics, fine arts, or marketing. A double degree or a master's degree in business administration (MBA) is definitely an advantage.
